Vista Healthcare is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. The candidate should have a diverse range of experience including working in senior role preferably in a community setting. Ideal candidate will be:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Provide support, leadership and mentoring to junior OT team members.
- Conduct client assessments & therapy from paediatric to adult clientele depending on your experience and interests.
- Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day-to-day work.
- Be prepared to complete professional development activities and apply your skills to various clinical situations.
- Be confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions.
- Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist with at least 12 months in Community setting
- Experience working with NDIS and DVA clients preferred
- Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective.
- Demonstrate a willingness to progress your career from a clinical perspective if required.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Be able to work independently.
- Be able to provide clinical supervision to other staff if required and based on experience level.
- Be confident in your role while being open to feedback.
- Have current AHPRA registration.
- Have a current driver’s license and your own car (option of company car for Full Time staff)
- Have the necessary checks or be willing to obtain as required?
- Public hospital and/or NDIS experience will be highly desired.
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist (Preferred)
